Press Release - Ringette Ontario and Eastern Region Set to Host AAA Challenge Cup In Ottawa

For Immediate Release

SCARBOROUGH (October 9th, 2019)– AAA teams from around the province will meet in Ottawa from October 11th– 13thto compete in the first Challenge Cup tournament of the season. The purpose of the Challenge Cup is to give teams from each region an opportunity to compete and prepare for the upcoming 2020 Ontario Winter Games taking place in Orillia from February 27thtill March 1st.

Teams participating in the tournament this weekend include: Eastern, Central, Southern, Northeast, United and Western.

Games will be played at the Bell Sensplex, Carleton Ice House and Walter Baker Sports Centre and admission to all games is free. The tournament schedule is available below and game updates can be found online atwww.score2stats.com.

Additional Challenge Cup tournaments will take place in Sudbury this November and Waterloo in February 2020.
